Details: Freenote’s first custom denim from Japan’s Kaihara Mills is a 14.5 ounce indigo denim. Freenotetook their time with this project to develop a classic denim that they could showcase in all of their fits. The denim features ultra dark indigo yarns with medium slub and a tight tension weave. The fill yarn is less pronounced than most indigo denim creating a saturated, inky look when new. Their aim was to create a fabric with a clean appearance that would yield pronounced fades over time. Custom 14.50 oz denim from Kaihara Mills, Japan. Sanforized dark indigo with white fill yarn. Button fly construction and a Two piece waistband. Tucked belt loops, 1/8” double needle accents, Flat felled seams, Japanese herringbone pocket bags, Custom rivets and button tacks, Custom labels from Italy, Custom leather patch made of Red Wing Heritage leather, and Sewn in USA.
