Alix’s creative approach to print style and phenomenal use of color are why we are madly in love with her collection. Styles are produced in small batches, all by hand, with incredibly beautiful details and fabrications.
It all kind of makes sense as Alix is a descendant of generations of French artists and Italian textile developers. Alix has studied and worked throughout Europe & Asia, and currently calls Brooklyn home. Alix develops her amazing pieces in her Brooklyn Atelier inspired by mid century Bohemians and The Bloomsbury Group of the early 1900’s
Chloé Stora pays particular attention to the quality of the fabrics, as well as the importance and uniqueness of the prints. The guiding thread of the collections, the minimalist lines and the vibrant prints are the promise of a game of codes and an infinite freedom of style.
Closed is a family business. That’s not just a fact, it’s their philosophy. They only work with people we trust and like. As a company, they draw heavily on their European heritage – French imagination, Italian craftsmanship and German tradition. And speaking of roots: denim is a huge part of their DNA. After all, they did start as a denim brand. They have been producing jeans since 1978 and understand the importance of every single detail. The signature details of their heritage styles keep on inspiring their design teams. They will always play a role in Closed’s collections. Just as their experience of designing and producing fashion has for more than 40 years.
